How to become a successful model!!

Hi dear dear viewers of fimlyhub.com. I read a wonderful article about starting a successful modeling career by Tori who is Owner of the Website PaidOpps.Blogspot.com and Expert in working online with no investment. She is very popular blog writer and in this post she gives valuable tips for modeling career. Here is the article synopsis presented for you.

Tori:-
Dreaming of becoming Victoria Secret Model?? Breaking into the modeling industry often is very hard, especially if you don’t have a ton of money or a lot of connections. It seems like there’s more people trying to scam aspiring models than there are people trying to help them. Shady managers, dirty photographers and poor advice is very common. But modeling career is very lucrative, moneymaking and glamorous. So here are tips 6 tips for modelling aspirants.

1. You need a portfolio a.s.a.p. There’s thousands of companies in the phone book and on the internet that will tell you to purchase a “professional portfolio” from them. This is totally not necessary, unless you have a few hundred (or more) dollars to throw away. Instead find a local photographer who is willing to do a “TFP” shoot. TFP stand for Time For Prints. This means that both you and the photographer benefit from the shoot. You get your picture taken for free and the photographer get to use your pictures without paying you for your time. Big name photographers will not go for this but I promise any college level photography student will jump at the opportunity.

2. Assemble photos in attractive manner in your scrap book. Include a page with your stats – measurement, phone number and email, etc.

3. Create free portfolios on sites like modelmayhem.com. Never list personal information anywhere public, such as the net. Keep it simple.

4. Scout for jobs using the internet, newspaper and so on. Even if you have to take some non-paid positions or low-paying gigs, it’s still good for building a resume.

5. Make comp cards which is simply your imaged worked out with Photo shop.Comp cards are like your “modeling business card”, they range in size from the size of an index card to a 5 x 9. Be creative but keep it simple. Print on glossy thick paper and be sure to include your stats and contact info. Keep photos to a minimum – no more than 4 on a side.

6. Hand out comp cards everywhere modeling-related! Be sure to give them to any connections you make in the modeling world. You never know when you’ll get that call for a big job. Comp cards are just like business cards – people have a hard time throwing them away.

Remember to stay positive. You won’t land every job you apply for! Even top models will tell you that it can be difficult at first. Don’t spend money where it’s not needed. It’s easy to be sucked into companies that promise the world. These businesses will offer you a no-guarantee policy, and little return (if any). Just stick to the above system and jobs will come!
