Music Review : Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic
Yash Raj camp must be having high expectations after their recent stigma with flop after flop on box office from Kunal Kohli who has given two super hit movies like Hum Tum and Fanna. ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ has music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom) and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi (Fanaa, Hum Tum). The album starts with ‘Pyar Ke Liye’ which is beautifully written by Prasoon Joshi who has been applauded for splendid Fanaa song lyrics earlier. Shankar Ehsan Loy’s music is reasonably ok and despite some unnecessary experiments (ooohhh) in between song is pretty much fine. ‘Nihal Ho Gayi’ is arguably the most popular song of the movie which is being shown in various promos and chartbusters. Song has dancing appeal and lyrics serves the purpose well. Bulbula is song for kids which is meant to enhance the angel effect of the movie. Song should find a place among kids. ‘Lazy Lamhe’ carries is song full of masti and track has been rendered by newcomer Anusha Mani. There is a feel of Indi-pop in this song. The remix version by DJ Aqeel can become popular among people. ‘Beetey Kal Se’ is song for kids and its sang well by Sunidhi Chauhan with assistance of kids. Overall music of the movie is reasonably worth listening to.
